I believe in the sun,
even when it's not shining.
I believe in love,
even when I feel it not.

My World Wears Chains
I’m thrilled to share that my latest composition, "My World Wears Chains," has been selected as a finalist for the 2024 New Works Rising Composition Competition. This piece holds a special place in my heart, as it was inspired by my dear friend Lejoi and explores the deeply personal themes of confinement, struggle, and the relentless pursuit of freedom.
The opening lines, “I know my world wears chains, I know my dreams wear chains,” reflect the heavy burdens we all carry in life. As the music progresses, it builds toward a powerful moment of release, where the spirit finally “breaks free from this earthly twine, into celestial light.”
This work is an emotional journey that touches on the raw human experience of longing and liberation, and I’m excited to make it available for free download.
